The Next Century

Investing in the future of CMU one dollar at a time
1925 - 2025

The Previous Hundred Years

The Previous Hundred Years

For one hundred years, Colorado Mesa University has transformed lives and shaped the future of Western Colorado. Each project, each building, each innovation has added to our legacy of excellence.

From the founding of Grand Junction Junior College with just 39 students to becoming a comprehensive university serving over 10,000 Mavericks, our campus has grown alongside our community's ambitions. These milestones represent more than construction — they embody our commitment to accessible education and regional prosperity.
